Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress who is best famous for her performances in TV series The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003 she has demonstrated her range in acting performing outstandingly in TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 as well as Under the Dome. The first time she was noticed was for her role as Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. However, it was her performance as Fannie Lou (a woman's advocate for women's right to rights) in the biographical All the Way film that made her famous as an actor. Hind's portrayal as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's period drama Underground was also highly appreciated. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series for the third season.
