Beyonce Giselle Knowles, was born on September 4 1981 in Houston. Tina Knowles-Lawson, her mother creates their glittering costumes. Mathew Knowles is Destiny's Child's managing director. Solange, her sister (4 years apart) has released her first album. She dances along with her sister at DC-3 shows. Beyonce is from Louisiana Creole and African descent. Beyonce is also 1/32 Irish and has distant Breton and Spanish, Indonesian and Chinese roots. According to reports, she has said that in order to overcome her shyness she developed an acting persona dubbed "Sasha".
