Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix was the Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix's athletic talent was evident right from the day she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. After her first audition, she placed in the top two at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 200 meters in a mere 10 weeks. Felix signed a contract for an official career at Adidas in 2003, and then enrolled at University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic award at 2004's Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s which set the new world junior record. She was the youngest world athlete to win the 200 meters at the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007 by beating her time-tested Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently in the top third in each event she competed in at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
